Chairman of the Board

Hillari Zweibohmer

"LIFE - Leadership, Inclusion, Friendship, Encouragement"

Omaha, Nebraska

It is both an honor and a privilege to serve Nebraska Women of Today as your 2026–2027 Chairman of the Board (COB). Reflecting on my year as State President, I am incredibly proud of what we accomplished together. We strengthened our organization, built meaningful connections, and laid a strong foundation for the future. This year, I look forward to continuing that momentum by focusing on Leadership, Inclusion, Friendship, and Encouragement (LIFE)—the values that make our organization thrive.

For those who may not know me, my name is Hillari Zweibohmer, and I currently serve as President of the Omaha Women of Today chapter. Although our chapter is one of the newest in Nebraska Women of Today, we've already discovered that success isn't measured by size—it's measured by passion, dedication, and the willingness to make a difference. We may be small, but we are mighty, and we're excited to continue growing, serving our community, and sharing fresh ideas with our state organization.

As Chairman of the Board, I have two exciting goals for the coming year.

First, I want to encourage more first-time attendees to experience our Fall Conference, State Convention, National Mid-Year Convention, and Annual National Convention. Whether you're a brand-new member or someone who's been with us for years but has never attended one of these events, I hope you'll consider taking that first step. These gatherings are more than meetings—they are opportunities to learn, grow, and be inspired. They help members better understand our organization, develop leadership skills, discover innovative community service ideas, and build lifelong friendships with members from across Nebraska and our sister states. Every convention offers new perspectives, renewed enthusiasm, and memories that last well beyond the weekend.

My second goal is to inspire more members to consider serving on the Nebraska Women of Today State Board. Leadership opportunities can feel intimidating at first, but they are also some of the most rewarding experiences our organization offers. Serving on the State Board allows you to develop new skills, gain confidence, collaborate with incredible women, and help shape the future of Nebraska Women of Today. You don't have to have all the answers—you simply need a willingness to learn and a desire to serve.

If you've ever wondered what a State Board position involves, I encourage you to reach out to any current or past board member. Ask questions, learn about the roles, and explore the possibilities. Every leader in our organization started by saying "yes" to a new opportunity, and you can, too.

Together, let's continue building an organization where every member feels welcomed, valued, and empowered to lead. Let's embrace new experiences, support one another, celebrate our successes, and continue living LIFE through Leadership, Inclusion, Friendship, and Encouragement.

I am excited for all that we will accomplish together this year and can't wait to see where this journey takes us. Here's to another incredible year of serving our communities, growing as leaders, and making a lasting impact—together!
