This year I would like to see our organization grow, as we have so much to offer through Personal Enrichment, Community Service and Leadership Training. Each of our chapters need to Recruit, Orientate, Activate and Retain their members.

I have always said that “our members are the most valuable resource within our State. Building membership together will allow us to be most visible in our communities and to better serve others.

If not already in place, seek out members to be “MENTORS”, so that when we recruit a new member, they will be able to orientate and take them under their wing to help guide the new member for the first ninety (90) days.

Also, when a member is not actively participating in or attending meetings, reach out to inquire about the cause of their absence.

We need to look at ways that we can recruit new members. Please look at ways in your chapter you can recruit new members.

It is important to acknowledge that our membership is experiencing a notable decline due to multiple contributing factors. Now is the perfect time for us to focus on recruiting new members and to keep current members engaged and informed. Let us remember that communication is a key factor.
